The prompt
Copy this, then replace everything in [brackets].
Help me prepare honest answers to common objections.
Objections: [price is too high / want to think about it / getting other quotes / just want the repair]
Our facts: [warranty, licensing, reviews, financing, install crew in-house]
For each: what the homeowner might really mean, a question to ask, and a respectful answer. No pressure tactics.
Before / after
Before: Arguing, or folding and discounting.
After (example output):
‘We’ll think about it.’ Might mean: price, spouse, trust. Ask: ‘Totally fair. What part are you still weighing?’ Answer: help with the real concern, then offer to leave the options and follow up Thursday.
Tips
- Ask before you answer. The first objection usually isn’t the real one.
- Use your price book and real equipment data. The AI doesn’t know your prices or what’s in stock.
- Present, don’t push. The homeowner decides.
- Review every draft before you send it. You’re accountable for what goes out.
