Crews: [lead + helpers, skills, days off]
Constraints: [inspections, crane, electrician]
Schedule by day and crew, flag jobs that can't go (no permit or equipment), and list what to confirm.
Before / after
Before: Crew shows up and the equipment’s still at the distributor.
After (example output):
Mon: Crew A, job 4421 HP replacement (2 days), equipment in stock, permit issued. Crew B, 4425 water heater + 4428 furnace. Can’t go: 4430 (equipment arrives Wed). Confirm: 4421 attic access with homeowner.
Tips
- No permit, no equipment, no schedule. Make it a rule.
- Use job numbers and first names. Keep codes and addresses in the FSM.
- Confirm crew and equipment availability before sending anything to a customer.
- Review every draft before you send it. You’re accountable for what goes out.
