The prompt
Copy this, then replace everything in [brackets].
Explain our financing options in plain English.
Lender/programs: [e.g. 0% for 18 months, 9.99% for 120 months]
Terms that matter: [promo period, deferred interest Y/N, min payment]
How to apply: [link, takes X minutes, soft/hard pull]
Short, honest, no pressure. Include one sentence explaining deferred interest if it applies. I'll check the lender's official terms before sending.
Before / after
Before: Customer confused, financing dropped, job lost.
After (example output):
Two options: (1) 0% for 18 months. If it’s paid off by then, no interest. If not, interest from day one is added (that’s ‘deferred interest’). (2) A fixed monthly payment over 10 years at 9.99%. Applying takes about 5 minutes on your phone.
Tips
- Never paste financing applications or credit details into the AI. Use the lender’s portal.
- Use first names or job numbers instead of full customer details.
- Copy the final text back into your FSM or accounting system so the record stays in one place.
- Review every draft before you send it. You’re accountable for what goes out.
